Discovery Parks - Melbourne

A good caravan park just outside the city. The sites we stayed at were clean. Amenities were clean and central. The pool was a nice size and clean. Apart from the pool there wasn't much else offered, the TV room is exactly as named a TV in a room with a couch and games rooms had a pool table, this isn't a bad thing as there is so much located around the park. A good stay.

I have stayed here multiple times over the last 10 years with my family. Located in the Western suburbs makes it easy to leave Melbourne if you are from the western side if the state. There are plenty of good food options close by. Only a short drive to highpoint shopping centre. If you are staying here pay a little more and stay in the nicer rooms. The budget ones are borderline run down. We had ants, cockroaches and a sewage smell our last stay in the budget cabin. But previously staying in the premium cabins there were no issues at all. Kids loved the pool. Would definitely stay again but never in the budget cabin.

Really happy with our accommodation. Great location (close to shops and public transport) and family friendly with the pool and playground to keep the kids busy! Our cabin was well equipped, which is really handy to be able to prepare meals etc especially when travelling with children. Our cabin was also really clean and the beds comfy. Special mention to Catherine who helped us out with a missing mobile phone 🤗 Would recommend to anyone and would certainly stay again!

We stayed in the budget cabin (sleeps 6) It was overall not the best, the patio area to our cabin kept making a loud popcorn like cracking noise at all hours, no matter the weather (I at first thought it was rain related) which was a bit of a bother. There was also a big lack of privacy having windows on every wall and little to no sound proofing. The shower products weren't very good quality and midway through using the hairdryer provided it let out a bunch of sparks that had embers involved which I was worried would catch on something/burn me. Lastly when we tried to connect to the wifi, it wouldn't work no matter how strong the signal supposedly was. The bedding was really nice though, and I'm very happy that towels and products were provided for us despite staying in the budget cabin. The provided hot drinks were also quite lovely. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment and all of the stuff we ended up using was clean and neat in the kitchen cupboard. the cabin also had a pretty solid amount of storage options for clothes to be unpacked into Personally, I think if you're on a tight budget it's an alright option, as long as you can handle a lot of noise through the night, everyone around you being able to hear and see you, and can bring your own bathroom bits and bobs However I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know personally
